Something that is near and dear to my heart is horse rescue. Growing up, we had a neighbor whose horses were always underfed. When they got out, which was frequent, they always came up to our home looking for something to eat knowing we would feed them. Today, I volunteer for the local rescue. I do photography work for them and use it to draw social media attention to their stories. This place is special, these horses are special. Some have survived truly atrocious situations, and others were well cared for up until their owners were unable to continue doing so. They all have unique histories and challenges. Its something I'm honored to be able to contribute to as often as I can. These are just a few of my favorites from over the years.
